Cambodian long grain parboiled rice is the rice that has been boiled in the husk (the rice was soaking, steaming and drying). Parboiling changes the color of rice to a light yellow or amber, which differs from the pale, white color of regular rice. If the barn is milled away it is called “Parboiled Rice” but if the barn is not milled it called “Brown Parboiled Rice” Parboiled rice is rich of vitamins fiber and fatty acids. Parboiled rice is easy to cook rice.
